12 oz. Aroma has notes of doughy malt, candy corn, faint watermelon. Pours lightly hazy golden with a one finger off-white head with good retention. Taste is sweet with faint bitterness. Watermelon is super faint, barely detectable. Herbal hops. Tastes old even though it hasn't reached the Best By Date. Approaching insipid.

Very deep copper and pure bronze coloured body with a nice, but fairly thin off-white head that starts at one to two centimetres tall but fades quickly to just a thin layer on top. Aroma of strong pumpkin pie spices, allspice, canella, pungent nutmeg with a good deal of squash in the nose and some alcohol behind with a dry malty scent and a hint of some residual sugars as well, at least in the nose. Medium to almost Full-bodied; Full squash flavours show at first in the flavour with a big bite in terms of malts and body with some allspice and canella showing first in the spice category with some coriander seed here as well and a light dose of sugars towards the end with some toffee and caramelised sugars as well. Aftertaste shows a good balance of spices, rich malts, light sugars and a smooth complexity with some mellow earthy, nutty and alcohol flavours coming through, especially at the very end, but the spices hit nicely and well across the palate with a richness that makes this twelve ounce can, just about right. Overall, a nice, pungent, spiced, balanced and rich, flavourful while complex beer that hits nicely and keeps the format small and just right for the style. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Bread & Honey in New York (8th Ave @ 56th St), New York on 20-December-2020 for US$3,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 08-October-2021.

16 oz. Draft in Carmel Hamlet, NY. Flavor has a lasting apricot over tone with mild pine, and a soft floral hint. Really nice blend of hop flavors. Somehow different from the norm.

12 oz can from Half Time. Slightly cloudy, bright golden, thin, foamy head. Citrusy, hoppy aroma, orange peel. Taste adds some biscuity malts , keeping the zest from the citrus for a light, snappy finish. Pretty refreshing
