Draft at the HCMC taproom. Poured a crystal clear yellow golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is light yeast and light malts. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, somewhat fresh, malt, yeasty, light straw, light hop bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Draft at the Ho Chi Minh City taproom. Poured a mostly clear reddish copper colour with a short-lived, fizzy white head. The aroma is light dragon fruit. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, crisp, fresh, somewhat metallic, light herbal, light dragon fruit palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, fresh, light caramel, light spicy fruit (probably passionfruit as that’s what the board says!) light woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

12oz can from Brewers Haven. Cloudy golden pour, foamy white head. Cucumber in the aroma, along with some citrus and hops. Cucumber comes through solidly in the taste. Solid summer quencher.

Bottled. Black, small coarse head. Aroma of whisky, aniseed and chocolate. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Chalky wood, treacle and coffee. Long bitter finish.

A deep dark stout with a very thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light coffee notes, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth, light meaty notes, pleasant.
