Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Max. Black with a nice tan head. Great aroma of dark chocolate, caramel, roast, dark fruits, red wine, sherry. Sweetish flavor with a tart note, with chocolate, caramel, lots of red wine, sherry, wood, dark fruits. Full-bodied. Really good. Much better than the regular version.

500ml bottle from an organic food shop chain called Vkusville. Pours hazy dark yellow with a small white head, some lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, orange, hops. Taste is medium bitter, citrus fruits. Decent one, and a nice return to real Russian craft after a two-month gap.
