Golden ale with a white head. Light non-descript malty aroma. Boring lager taste, chalky notes and light watery bodied.

Bright golden brown colour. Light malty aroma. Light palate. I’ve had this better before - like 2 weeks ago when it was fresh and nutty tasting - but OK Spring’s beers don’t hold up well apparently. Very fresh, both this and the 1516 seem fine, tasty even. The trick is getting them fresh. If you don’t win that gamble, this is what you get.

Golden-straw colour with haze. Bready malt aroma. Zippy carbonation. The palate shows some hop crispness, with bread notes. Nothing too special. Slightly fruity notes in the finish. Kind of dull for a helles.

1516 Bavarian Lager from Okanagan Spring Brewery

Bottle. Golden-straw colour; light malt nose - bread crust- with light noble hops. Soft body with sweet bready notes, but lighter than the draught, where the bread was very assertive. Crisp finish. Light earthy hop notes. Zippy carbonation. Definitely less assertive this time around, more hoppy too.

Initial rating: Golden colour. Very fresh bread aroma and flavour. Clearn, with a hint of grassy hop. A little overcarbonated, but nonetheless really captures the big, fresh malt character of the style.

Amber brown,Lasting beige head.Light malt nose and taste.As it warms, malt becomes more pronounced.Nothing bad, but nothing special.

Malt based aroma. Amber brown, relatively highly carbonized, high head. Round sourdough-bread mouth. Quite refreshing.

Malty nose with some corn. Pale golden, low head, big bubbles. Honeyish malt in the taste, but overall just bland. Medium body, no aftertaste to tell about.

Their lager was so good the introduced this but it never gained the popularity of the Lager and Pale Ale
