Pour at State of Origin 2018. Pours a clearish copper gold with a finger of foam that dissiaptes. Bready sourdough aromas with smoe light yogurt and lemon notes and wood. Smooth and lightly tart with some wheatberry and yogurt acidity. Lingering bread and slight honey sweetness on the finish.

Draft at the source. Spoke to the asistant brewer on this one, he described it as a hybrid, malt bill and brewing method of a steam beer, but spices instead of hops, like a gruit. Clear amber. color Mixed spice & pine aroma. Taste is sweet caramel on biscuits, lightly bitter and dry finish. Interesting combo.
