Made With Intention

Fine Creek Brewing is a small, family-owned farmhouse brewery in rural Powhatan County, established in May of 2017. Everything we do and every decision we make is done with intention and careful consideration.

We intentionally set out to create a limited production brewery in a setting with open space, fresh air and a sense of place. We find ourselves rotating our beers quickly, avoiding flagships, and changing our food menu every single weekend not because its the easy thing to do but because we’re passionate about our craft.

We cook the food we love to eat and brew the beers we love to drink. We support local farms and producers from fruit growers to grain farmers, from vegetable growers to malt producers. We believe beer is best enjoyed in the place its created in the presence of family, friends, and neighbors.

We would love the opportunity to share our passions with you, right here in Powhatan, Virginia.

On tap at Draft Taproom. Hazy amber, creamy light beige head. Malty aroma. Toasted malt, caramel, hint of banana, spice. Not bad.

Draft at Dominion Wine & Beer. Poured a clear yellow color with a small white head, with a lot of lacing. Aroma was light tartness, some mild acid. Flavor had mild grain, some very light sweetness. Kind of got a bit of a pixie stix character from this one.

Draft at Dominion Wine & Beer. Poured a clear yellow color with a pretty much non-existent head. Crisp. Light sweetness. Mild, light grassy notes. Pretty crisp.

Draft at High Side in Fairfax. Poured a hazy medium dark orange color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was juicy orange notes. Light fruity citrus. Really juicy, crisp, bright and enjoyable.

Keg at Draft Taproom. Hazy gold, large foamy white head good retention. Aroma of dank tropical fruit, tea. Taste is dank, green hops. Medium bodied. Nice.

Draft taproom. Pours slightly gold with a soft off white head. Aroma is lightly floral, minor citrus. Flavor is rose petals, peach, black tea, citrus, wet dog. Really nice flavor, would like to see an amped up version.
