Commonly found in bottles at Price Leader around the island. Has clear gold body and fast gone foam, smells of tin and sugar. Flavour is boozy cardboard, more tin and sugar. Cloying sugary aftertaste. Another piss poor local lager. Noteworthy, however, as it marks the 100th country on my Ratebeer journey.

Clear glass bottle from Carrefour Destreland. Crystal clear golden yellow color thick white head with good retention and solid lacing. Papery aroma. Taste is mainly paper, subtle bitterness, dry finish. I put a picture of the back of the label on Untappd, with the abv and the barcode.

Many thanks to Minutemat for sharing this bottle! Grainy smooth beginning. No real bitterness here. Round and malty. Sessionable, round and refreshing with a nice smooth malty grainy aftertaste. Round, grainy, not too deep but easy sessionable.

Many thanks to Minutemat for sharing this bottle! Grainy nose. The beer starts grainy with hints of bitterness. Sweetish grain, sticky with a sweetish-bitter aftertaste. More bitter than expected, lots of slightly sweetish grain, somehow strange.

30th Jan 2018. Cheers Mat for bringing this brown 330ml bottle to the monthly beer exchange in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Better than the Gwada Original this had a little bit more about it. Clear golden pour, snowy white unlasting head. Fairly sweet, grainy overall; didn't get the orange flavours Mat did. No real aroma worthy of mentioning.

30th Jan 2018. Cheers mat for bringing this clear 330ml bottle to the monthly beer exchange in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. 'Original' on the label, we had the 'Pilsner' next. This is golden coloured with the usual Pilsner/Lager white head that fades very swiftly. Sweetcorn and damp cardboard flavour wise, not much of an aroma either. Country tick done, the Gwada Pilsner was a little better thank goodness.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, thanks to Eric for bringing this back. Pours clear gold, thin white head. Aroma has sweet, orangey malt. Taste is fairly sweet, a little dusty, faint corn, orange hints. Bit better than the 'Original'.
