Revision Brewing Company
Regional Brewery
in Sparks,
Nevada,
United States 🇺🇸
Associated Venue: Revision Brewing Company
Established in 2017
Revision Brewing Company stemmed from Brewmaster Jeremy Warren’s desire to start a brewery that embraced creative freedom. For Revision, that transcends from beer to label. The art of brewing is united with art itself with Revision labels featuring over twenty artists on ever-rotating IPA releases, keeping the labels as fresh and innovative as the beer itself.
The brewery also has a rebellious flair that can be seen by the edgy incorporations & a Wild West mentality which is prevalent in the branding at Revision. Reno as F*%k Hazy IPA was awarded Gold at 2019 World Lupulin Challenge Juicy Double IPA Category and has such a draw that the brewery decided to launch Vegas as F*%k Hazy IPA to show their Nevada roots across the entire state. The AF beers are highly sought after by locals and people visiting the state and are one of the best sellers for the brewery.

Can from Boise Co-op. Pale straw color , hazy, small tight foam head. Aroma is light citrus, spice, mango. More tropical notes in the taste, some savory flavors too, a hint of Saison herbal-ness. Light, silky, sweet then savory, then gone.

Bright, light amber. Sweet and bitter, touch of diacetyl...argh...but there's a good beer in here.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours somewhat hazy gold with a white head. Aroma is juicy, dank citrus. Med body or better. It's juicy and bitter; dank didn't make it. Or maybe it did. This is not wholly dry because of the juicy aspect, but the hop is strong enough it hints at dank. It is surprisingly smooth and almost mellow. Malt is nicely submerged. It's very nicely bitter. Really nice ale.

Draft at the Taphouse. Clear, bright golden, small head, streaky lacing. Citrusy aroma, orange peel. Taste too, citrusy, juicy, the puckering bitterness. Stings a bit.

Bomber from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours very lightly coppery gold with a white head. Aroma is floral with a citrus touch and some mild caramel. Med body, and maybe better. Flavor is floral with some definite citrus/pine, but there may be pale stone fruit too. Moderate caramel support is clearly present. It's reasonably towards dry and only moderately bitter. Kind of moderate everything I suppose. Tasty tho.

Bomber from ABV. Pours a clear bright orange color with a medium white head. A big fruity citrus nose. Soft apricot, orange peel, some zesty citrus, big tropical fruit. Super smooth. 10 years ago this would have been insane. As it is, this is a damn good IIPA. Smooth, toast, big tropical notes. Lovely.

Bottle. Gold with a loose white head. Aroma of oranges, light bread, pine, just a little dope but not enough to suggest it's going to be sickly. More refined than much of a revision, but whatever. Sweet with rather plain malts but loads of fruity hops - oranges, some mango, mandarin - not so much pine. Dries out a bit in a way that sets off the pretty modest bitterness. Good.
