Description
From day one, the support of friends and family has been vital to the creation and success of Grist House. This is a place where drinking buddies become lifelong friends, and regulars become family. This brewery was built with the help and support of those around us, and every beer we brew is a thank you to everyone that made this possible, whether they were holding a hammer, or just holding a beer.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a hazy bright yellow-gold color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The stomach was strong sweet pineapple but somewhat artificial. The flavor was tart and sour but also dry and chalky with fairly strong pineapple and an astringent presence. Long sour pineapple finish. Medium body. Decent.

Tap, bocktown, nice place. THis pours big and black. Smells like nice friendly dark brew, no hint of coffee on the nose. Taste is rather mild & flat cold coffee. Brew is better than expected. Lacks any of that over the top coffee thang so common in today’s coffee beers.
