Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear amber color with a medium bone white head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lace. Aroma of citrus, piney hop and malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, cherry and bready malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear orange-amber color with a medium off-white frothy head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Sticky rings of lace. Aroma of citrus, herbal hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of piney hops, grapefruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Clear pinkish-red color with a medium thin pinkish-white head that evaporates quickly to a film. Short strings of lace. Tart fruit, wheat and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of hibiscus, salty lime, wheat and doughy malt. The finish is mildly tart with a hibiscus aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Brown-black pour with a medium foamy beige head that recedes gradually to a film. Sparse patches of lacing on the glass. Roasted coffee, malt, and cocoa in the nose. Medium body with flavors of espresso, chocolate malt and a touch of hops. The finish is creamy with a mocha aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Light to medium body with flavors of caramel malt, fruit and mild earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Brown-black color with a thin light beige head that recedes quickly to a sparse outer ring. Small patches of lace. The aroma consists of roasty malt, dark chocolate and coffee. Full-bodied with flavors of charred malt, fruit, earthy hops and wood. The finish is boozy with a malty aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Draft at the source. Brewer Colby explained that this is his attempt at a cloudy New England IPA, but the beer clarified anyway, despite his best efforts of adding oats, grinding the malts to a fine powder, etc. But I’m glad he failed - it’s a slightly hazy golden color with a fluffy white head. Aroma of light fruit. Taste is bittersweet floral fruit. Tasty, and it looks good too.
