Sampled from tap at the brewpub. Clear, golden with a white head. Sweetish, moderately grassy-spicy and minimally fruity aroma of grains, straw, some citrus and hints of butter. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, quite grassy-spicy and minimally fruity taste of grains, straw, a touch of butter and traces of citrus, followed by a short, medium bitter, fairly grassy-spicy and gently dry finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice, crisp Lager!

Als Freund von dunklen Bieren, konnte ich diesem Bier nicht widerstehen. Es ist tiefschwarz und wird als "račansky káva" (dt.: Paradies-Kaffee) angepriesen. Die ganze Brauerei umgibt sich gerne mit Bibel-Geschichten, was man auch am Namen findet (dt. Zum Abel). Das Bier hat ca. 38 IBU und wird aus einer Kombination von Standard- und Pilsner-Malz gebraut (keine Ahnung was mit Standard-Malz gemeint ist...). Es hat tatsächlich einen feinen Geschmack nach Kaffee und allerlei Röstaromen, welche dem Gaumen entlanggleiten, aber irgendwie verpufft der Geschmack zu schnell wieder. Ein gutes Bier, aber etwas mehr Kraft könnte Abel noch reinhauen.

0,1l from tap at Salon Piva, Bratislava shared with Sander. black color, rather big tan head. smells earthy, doughy, buscuits, light vanilla, lihgt cocoa. nice to very nice smell. light to medium body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of coffee, earthy, peppery, light chocolate notes, malty. finishes lightly roasty dry with notes of coffee, earthy and light doughy notes. very nice one, very good to drink, good balance. good stuff. 7, 4, 8, 3, 15

On tap at Ružinovsky Pivovar Komin Bratislava. Darker amber coloured, medium sized pale beige head, light caramel in the nose. Slightly roasted malt, caramel, touch of coffee and nuts with quite dry finish. So-so.

Tap at Komin. Slightly too caramelly, but otherwise a good RIPA. High bitterness, moderate sweetness with medium-full body, moderate carbonation. General fruity, light resiny hops flavours. Easy drinking. Good.

Bottle from Pivný raj. Pours brown with thin beige head. Aroma is coffeeish, lightly sour, some roasted malt. Taste is coffeeish, with some caramel sweetness. A bit sour in the end. I'm not huge fan of brown ales, but this is quite good.

Dalsie v craft beer. Pekna kavova vona. Farba cierna. Chut vyrazne po kave.

on tap at Bratislavsky Oktoberfest. Dark golden color with medium white head. Aroma: juicy, pine, mango, grapefruit. Taste: grapefruit, resins, caramel, red berries, solid malty background. Medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate bitterness.

Tap at Októberfest, Bratislava. Golden color with medium white head. Malt, yeast, bitter hops in aroma. Taste starts malty, yeasty followed by nové hoppy bitterness. Medium long hoppy bitter finish. OK.
