Description

We are a group of 4 beer enthusiasts. We have never been strangers to crazy ideas - and one evening another crazy idea came up, which now occupies us fully and we have to forget about the others for a while. Brew your own beer in Piešťany - good, honest beer, full of flavor. Ones that we will not be ashamed of, and to which we will gladly invite family and friends.

We visited almost all Slovak microbreweries and many Czech ones to get inspiration. Yes, we were a little envious and peeked. We understood that the beer we want to brew will consist of only 4 basic ingredients - water, barley, hops and yeast. No added enzymes, preservatives and other additives - and therefore no European beer, but honest domestic beer.

And so we started cooking. Each batch is slightly different from the previous one, because we are still not convinced that we have found the ideal ratio of ingredients. But it will come. We are still learning and we really enjoy it :)

Bottle from brewery, many thanks guys. Golden color with long lasting white head. Almost no carbonation. Aroma of citrus, zest, light apricots. Taste, light malt, moderate citrus hops, zest, pines, again apricotyts, light sourness. Good, refreshing.

Bottle from brewery. Amber color with thick long lasting off-white head. Aroma of caramel, lactic acid, willow bark. Taste is intense willow bark, light lactic acid, caramel, alcohol is well hidden. Not bad at all, altough not very sour.

Bottle. Hazy amber, large and foamy white head, pretty lasting. Fruity hoppy nose, flowers, perfumey sweet, some biscuity back. Medium bitterness, dry and herbal a bit, slight citruses in the back. Lasting and gentler aftertaste. Light body. Decent.

500ml. can as part of a trade with @Cuso, many thanks. @home, 14/04/2021 [#3.893 Global - #30 Slovakia - #1 Pieštanský pivovar ŽiWELL] Color dorado turbio con una espuma media. Mamdarina muy marcada. Consumo preferente 04/04, quizas por eso tiene un punto asidrado y nada fresco. Una pena. Next one please!
