Bottled BB 04/2009. Pale yellow color, small white head. Sweetcorn and apple in the nose. Watery and fizzy. Almost tasteless, just light cardboard and corn. Totally useless. Name is funny.

Bottled, thanks to mom & dad. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready malts, grains and some slight maize. Flavour is malts, rubber, some slight hints of grass and grains. A bit maizeish notes as well.

Golden in color, white head. Aroma and taste, very blend. Some malts, and grains (wheat), leaving a light bitter finish coupled with some grainy notes on the palate. I don’t know about the meticulous process being done here, but it’s a far cry from anything complex. Move along here, nothing to see ... !

bottle courtesy of Wayne. Pours golden with white head. Aroma is grainy and yeasty as is the taste. Finish is rather weak and watery. Fairly decent wit, with the usual spices coriander and citrus notes.

Okay, I’ll admit that I bought this for the neato bottle with the vaguely communist-looking label, and the "look at me I’m special" booklet tied around the neck - however, this was pretty nice - I did not guess witbier - I though belgian ale - I also bought it because it’s a new country rating for me - Spain - nice - pours a hazy gold with a fizzy head the sinks to a ring of grainy bubbles - rustic, earthy aroma, with wheat malt mustiness, orange peel, wildflowers, herbs (rosemary, basil), anise - subtle and gentle, but fairly complex in aroma and flavor - starts a little peppery, with mellow anise and lavender flavors - some tartness and wheat after that, with some lemon and orange zest to compliment that - light grain - gets a little chalky and dry in the finish, but it somehow works - very understated - I would have liked a little more hops, then it would have been more crisp, and tasted more like a spiced saison - as it is, it’s still pretty good though - way under-rated.

(Bottle 75 cl) Hazy golden with an off-white head. Sweetish perfumy aroma with distinct coriander and citrus notes. Light body with citrus and a rather distinct acidity all through the finish that has no bitterness. 311008

(Bottle 33 cl) Presented as "Estrella Damm Celiacs Glutenfree". Clear golden with a dense white head. Sweetish “malty” aroma with a floral touch. Medium body, brewing cereal and cardboard notes. Finishes dry. Still a rather decent gluten free beer. 311008

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of jbrus. Clear yellow with a dense, creamy head with good retention and leaving a neat lacework. Aroma of brewing cereal. Medium body, brewing cereal and cardboard with a vague underlying tartness. Ends sweet with no bitterness. Rather poor. 311008
