Keg at Urban Brewing, Dublin, 03/11/23. Light black with a beige cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is dark malts, liquorice, molasses, dried fruit rinds, charr. Taste comprises fruit cake, chocolate, spice, molasses, dark malts, raisins, toffee, spice. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light boozey edge. Okay sipper if lacking some depth to the flavour for a double digit affair.

Taste comprises dark malts, cocoa powder, sea salt, dried fruit rinds, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay stout if a little stuck in third gear.

Nose is biscuit, brown bread, dried red berry whisper. Taste comprises biscuit malts, grains, herb, more dried berry notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. A touch bland but passable for the style.

Tap at the brewery. A mostly clear amber copper coloured pour with a a lasting beige cap. Aroma is semi sweet, nutty, dried fruit, rsisin, bran, rye. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded, layered malts, raisin, rye bread, twiggy, some mineral. Hint of vanilla. Palate is semi sweet, rounded chalky, highish carbonation.
