Description
One of Dublin’s most historic brewing empires of the 18th Century was established by the respected and highly successful house of Sweetman.
By 1756 the Sweetman family had an extensive network of breweries in Ireland’s capital along with being revered architects, politicians and art connoisseurs.

We are proud to offer a selection of award winning Craft Beers brewed by our Head Brewer Rob Hopkins. Rob trained in New York and now consistently brews a full range of tasty and popular Craft Beers including Pale Ale, Red Ale, Weizz, Blonde, Porter, Stout and a selection of Seasonal Brews.

Draught, 4.2% at the brewpub. Mild fruity aroma. Hazy golden colour. Small white head. Good fruity flavour. Flowery and mild. Low bitterness. Caramelly. Good. 737315

Was only going to stay for one but got roped into another. Clear gold puffy white head. Nose is light grains and citrus. Tastes of faint malt, cardboard, hint of grapefruit. Thin and easy drinking.

Tap at brewery. Dark brown pour small head not the prettiest porter. Nose light cocoa and earth. Tastes of chocolate and earth and rootbeer. Thin watery.

Roast and cream. Pours black with great pillow of head and carpet lacing. Soft finish. Well done for style like Godot. Tap at brewery.

A little pine and citrus but mostly a malt heavy beer. Much more of an English pale ale than a West Coaster like Ice Cube. Faint bitterness in finish. Tap at brewery.

Rust and a little citrus. Fairly clean finish. Golden orange pour with ok head and lacing. Clean end. Easy drinking. Cask at brewery.

Roast and light orange flavour like they put a slice in there. Pours dark brown with ok lacing and not much head. Light tangy end. Tap at brewery.

Heavy on the citrus compared to most hefes. Pours golden with good head and lacing. A little sour for your average like it rained all summer in Dublin.
