Description
A small brewery in Cornelius, North Carolina that specializes in unique and bold flavors.

My name is Matt Glidden and I am the founder of Ass Clown Brewing. I grew up on a dairy farm in Addison, Vermont. That hard work ethic and my life experiences have led to the founding of Ass Clown Brewing.

We believe in making a product that is NOT based off of a profit
model, but uses the best local organic ingredients (when available).

We also believe it is important to know what is in the beer you drink and that it is made in an environmentally responsible way. Ass Clown Brewing strives to be a "green" brewing company that uses alternative energy and finds alternative uses for brewing waste. For example, our warehouse will have recycled items, lights, furniture and equipment.

We also focus on using local ingredients. We grow our own hops. As we grow we will be looking for North Carolina hop growing farms, malting farms, and malting farms, spices and fruits.

Draft at the source. Hazy maroon amber color see pic please. Cedar aroma is very subtle. Taste is also subtle with lightly sour roast and a tiny edge of cedar. I can’t help comparing it to Cigar City’s cedar beers which have tons more cedar.

On tap at taco macs. Hazy opaque golden with small white head. Aroma is nice tart star fruit, medium /light body, lower carbonation, and thin small-bubble lacing. Taste is tart star fruit, brine, and a little pithy. Unfortunate brewery name, good beer.

Bottle - pours dark brown tan head - nose/taste of caramel, dark chocolate, sea salt and light sweetness - Lighter medium body. Not bad. Don’t understand the super low rates, but I love goses and sea salt in beers, so maybe it’s me?
