Description
603 Brewery was founded in 2012 by long time college friends. As home brewers, who met while studying engineering, they set out to design high quality, hand crafted beers. As demand for the beers increased, the vision to launch a microbrewery was developed. With a focus on quality and versatility, our hand crafted beer is brewed using the finest ingredients in small batches.

Bottle from Bert’s Pours a slightly hazy dull golden color with a decent sized dirty white head that shows moderate retention and lacing. Smells of sweet bread and light stone fruit with a hint of candy sugar, and a touch of spicy tartness. The flavor is lightly sweet with a nice light fruity sweetness that is offset with some spicy tartness and a hint of yeastiness. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet tart mouthfeel. I took this straight out of the fridge and poured it on this 85 degree humid day and it went down very quickly. Nice light easily approachable ale.

22 oz. bottle hand bottled on April 21, 2013. Purchased @ Top Shelf Brews. Dark red with amber highlights for color. The nose brings a light hops as well as a solid amount of caramel malt. The taste is caramel malt with notes of chocolate overlaid with some light hoppy notes. Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation. Malt and hops have a perfect balance. Quite drinkable and really sessionable. I could drink more and well worth a try.

22 oz. bottle hand bottled on April 7, 2013. Nose is mostly bready malt with a herbal note. I wish I had experience in tasting off flavors. It has a medicinal flavor mid palate. The only other flavor I get at all is wheat and a really weak bready malt profile. Real light body and overall bland. Slightly over carbonated. I guess the one nice aspect is it light on the palate. I wouldn’t ever drink this again.

Pours a lightly hazy medium golden color with a good sized white head that slowly recedes to a cap on top. Smells of light bready malt with hints of light fruit and spicy floral hops. Sweet light sugary honey like malt with bits of bready pilsner and fleeting hints of earthy and spicy hops. Light to medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet watery mouthfeel. Decent beer, but it needs a little tweak to be great. Its a bit sweet and could use either a touch more hops or a higher volume of carbonation to balance it out a bit. I would drink this while mowing my lawn.
