Description
603 Brewery was founded in 2012 by long time college friends. As home brewers, who met while studying engineering, they set out to design high quality, hand crafted beers. As demand for the beers increased, the vision to launch a microbrewery was developed. With a focus on quality and versatility, our hand crafted beer is brewed using the finest ingredients in small batches.

In case you were looking for an imperial Stout in a 24.8 ounce can this one’s for you! Born on : 16 Nov 20. Aroma is light maple, caramel, oak, and booze. Flavor does show slight maple throughout with soft roasted malt, chocolate, and the one flaw which is alcohol. The maple is a nice character. I wish the body was more full. 3.8.

16 oz. can. Crystal clear Golden appearance. Aroma is mild floral hops with some cracker malt. Flavor is the spot on the aroma. Texture is crisp with a soft floral finish. About what I expected.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from NH. Pours lightly hazed dull gold with a foamy, white head. Medium sweet flavour with a nice throwback style to it, some sturdy malts, mellow gooey pine, semi-ripe citrus fruits, tangerine, licks of grass and rind. Medium to full bodied, lightly chewy, with average carbonation. Subtly resinous in the finish, more good malt backbone, tasty and restrained pine, almost juicy citrus. The more I drink it, the more I like it.

Fresh 16 oz. can. Aroma is all lime and citrus peel. Flavor is mostly lime with a mild spicy yeast character underlying. I mean... at 4.5 % and focused around the lime, it is decent. Would be a ok beach or BBQ sipping brew.

Can from Bert's Pours a hazy light lemon yellow with a smattering of bubbles that never really forms a head. Aroma and flavor have moderate grapefruit and light peach with a smattering of lemon lime. Not much tart at all on this one. No hops no malt, at least the mouthfeel wasn't watery. Canned two months ago.

Can (1/6/20) pour from the brewery. Appearance is lightly hazy (fine pulpy particulates) pale golden yellow with very nice sparkle, finger-width creamy white head with good retention and no lacing. Aroma is lightly roasted malts, sweet coffee and milk chocolate. Taste is creamy milk chocolate, roasted grainy malts and late pleasant mildly bitter coffee. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, slick texture, soft carbonation, mild alcohol warmth in the stomach and fairly crisp finish as taste. Overall, quite good for the blonde stout style. Never going to compare to a full-on stout but the disparity between the look and taste gets me every time. Well crafted.

Taster pour as part of a flight at the brewery. Appearance is lightly hazy yellow with lazy sparkle, thin coating of off-white head and fair leggy lacing. Aroma is mild fruit and pine. Taste follows aroma along with citrus, hint of herb and cracker malt background. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, OK but nothing special.

Taster pour as part of a flight at the brewery. Appearance is opaque black with no sparkle, ring of beige head with no lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt bordering on smoke. Taste is strong roasted malt and coffee--bordering on char--and chocolate. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average-to-lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, no graham cracker or marshmallow so kind of not really getting the whole s'more thing and demerits for missing the description. Mostly burnt/roasted quality and a bit too carbonated.

Taster pour as part of a flight at the brewery. Appearance is lightly hazy piss yellow with trace sparkle, thin coating of off-white head with nice leggy lacing. Aroma is mild fruit and some herb but pretty weak. Taste is stronger than the aroma. Tasty mix of melon, fruit and herb. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft-to-average carbonation and crisp finish as taste. Overall, the taste is much better than the aroma with a nice mix of fruit and herb. Alcohol is hidden well but a bit thin in the body for a DIPA.

Taster pour as part of a flight at the brewery. Appearance is opaque very dark brown--virtually opaque--with no sparkle, thin ring of beige head with no lacing. Aroma is bourbon, maple. Taste is bourbon, dark fruit, and maple a bit too high in the mix initially; then mild nuts. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, average-to-lively carbonation and sweet finish as taste. A bit cloying. Overall, aroma is really promising but the bourbon, fruit and maple are too much, at least initially, but then calms.
