650 ml bottle with a sticker on bottom of bottle showing 1-17-17. Color is a mostly hazy yellow with suspended particles in a liquid. Good head retention. Aroma (even when warm) was weak dried fruit, mild pine resin.
The flavor has was not as bold as I was hoping for. The tropical fruits and pine is here but also has a slightly harsh astringency that doesn’t help enjoyment. The body is light with a dry texture.
In a highly competitive New England IPA market, it will hard for anybody to take notice of this. Could use a bit of tweaking. (If you want people to actually seek this out). Sorry just being honest. The good news is the alcohol is hidden pretty nicely.

Tap at New England Farmhouse Grille Hazy murky deep yellow color without much of a head by the time it got to the table. Sweet honey and bready malt with a ton of lemony herbal notes. Reminded me a lot of cough drops but thats not as much of a slam as it sounds. And my nose seems to be clearing up too. :) Interesting beer.

Draft at New England Tap House Grille. 4 oz. sample. Light toffee malt and pine needle aroma. Flavor is medium to sweet toffee with a light Earthy hop bitterness of low duration. Mild pine harshness for bitterness.
Well-made for the style and this falls into the American strong ale because of the ABV level. I was surprised how well the alcohol was hidden since I didn’t even know it was this strong until I entered my rating. That makes a statement.

Draft at New England Tap House Grille. 4 oz. sample. Deep murky brown in color. Aroma is ground coffee and weak chocolate. Maybe notes of chocolate. The coffee permeates throughout the sip with the stout ending in a “raw” ground coffee finish. Mouthfeel is ok with a medium body. I didn’t get the oats but the body works. Mild carbonation level.
Overall for the ABV at such a low gravity, it has a good amount of flavor that is nearly all coffee. Good but average.

Draft at New England Tap House Grille. 4 oz. sample. Clear in color gold, thin white head. Aroma is Chai tea, vanilla and lemons. Body is on the lighter side with a pale gain backbone. Lemon upfront with a chai tea finish.
4 ounces was about enough because I don’t think I could drink an entire pint. The chai stacks up as you sip it. It was fun to try.

650 ml bottle. Pours light golden with a white head. Aroma is spice, mild musk, and some grain. Taste is lightly spicy, light citrusy hints, straw with a dry texture. Mild peppery touch in the background. Good, classic textbook example of the style. Light and effervescent.

Bottle from Bert’s Slightly hazy light golden color with a decent sized bubbly white head that slowly dissipates. Resin and pine dive for my nose as soon as I pop the cap. Tropical fruity citrus and light bready maltiness fill in the rest. Resin citrus and pine flavor with again some faint sweat bread. Mild bitterness with just a hint of astringency. Quite a flavorful solid DIPA, nice.

Growler shared by Puboflyons, thanks for the opportunity! Slightly hazy copper color with a smallish white head. Earthy hoppy nose, sweet bready caramel flavor Lught yeasty phenols. Nice beer.

Thanks Jeff for the share on the 32 oz. growler. Orange in color with almost no head. Aroma is floral hops, light spicy yeast. Grassy. The bitterness is mild with an herbal note that come from either yeast or hops. An interesting hoppy saison.

Bottle from Bert’s shared with friends. Fairly clear deep auburn with a decent sized off white head. Aromas of caramel and toffee with lots of earthy pine and citrus. The flavor follows the aroma quite well but adds a solid sharp bitterness that at times is quite astringent. Hides the alcohol extremely well. Decent but needs some tweaks to make this outstanding.
