16 oz. can. Aroma has bold raspberry with a week note of peanut butter. Got to say that that is a lot of raspberry in the flavor! Almost hard to find the peanut butter but it is there in the finish. Body and texture are good. Although I have to say I’m not sure the raspberry added to the base beer.

Canned 10/16/24, drunk 12/3/24, from AirForceHops, thanks, Chris! Clear, dark. Large, tan head, good retention. Love that grapey-raspberry jelly character in the nose. It brightens the savory, salty roastiness of the peanut butter. Bit of lactose character but not too bad. Low but ample roast. Not too strong on the malt, but it is only 5.5%... In the mouth it's lighter, not thin, but watery. With lactose and other adjuncts in place of maltiness, keeping the body light. But the flavor is really well-expressed with lots of bright, fruity, even slightly tart jelly and rich, savory, but not overdone peanut butter. Lactose doesn't seem to add any detracting flavors. I wish it was a pinch maltier and chewier, and maybe had a bit more peanuts, but for only 5.5% it's hard to complain. Seems like sitting on the can for a while helps with this one.

Pours clear bright amber into a tulip. White head with good retention recedes to coat surface. Caramel and pine aromas. Medium bodied with sweet caramel and tangerine upfront turning to sweet earthy pine in the dry, medium length finish. Has slightly bitter, unpleasant after taste.

6 oz. pour on tap at Eli Cannon's. Opaque black w/ring of head & no lacing. Aroma is strong bourbon > roasted malt > PB. Taste is bourbon--not overpowering but excludes base stout--late hint of roast/PB. Smooth texture, soft carbonation & finish taste. Bourbon adds to the aroma but a bit overpowering in the taste.

6 oz. pour on tap at Eli Cannon's. Opaque black w/ring of head & no lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, PB, vanilla, chocolate. Taste is strong roasted malt, alcohol presence, PB. Smooth texture, soft carbonation & finish as taste. Doesn't add too much to regular Gunner's Daughter except added alcohol.

6 oz. pour on tap at Eli Cannon's. Opaque dark brown w/ring of head & no lacing. Aroma is strong jelly over faint roast & possibly PB. Taste is strong jelly but base stout fairly drowned out & no PB. Smooth texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste. Disappointing.
