Pours deep, hazy mahogany into a trappist glass. Off-white medium head with good retention coats surface. Mild dark pit fruit aromas. Medium bodied and dry with caramel and clove upfront turning turning to sour bitter earth in the lasting finish. The finish is not pleasant and really brings it down notches.

Pours light gold into a tumbler. Bright white head with good retention leaves sheet lacing as it recedes. Sour chardonnay aromas. Sharply carbonated with caramel, mild citrus and spice upfront turning to a lasting earthy bitter finish. Quite bitter with little of the wheatiness expected in a wit...closer to a white IPA.
