6 3 7 3 13Draft at Independence Taproom, Mumbai.  Clear dark golden with a white head.  Aroma of the strawberry milkshake hop (tm).  Never expected to find that bugger in India!  Aside from that there’s citrus notes, tangerine and caramel malt.  Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter.  Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

5 4 5 3 10Draft at Independence Taproom, Mumbai.  First India Imperial Stout I’ve seen!  Black with a beige head.  Aroma of licorice, brett.  Oh damn it’s infected, shame!  Roasty notes and dark chocolate behind the infection but it’s just not right.  Flavour is above moderate sweet and light to moderate sour.  Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.  Really wanted this one to be good but unfortunately it wasn’t to be.

8 4 7 2 14Draft at Independence Taproom, Mumbai.  Near black with a small tan head.  Aroma of massive vanilla, cacao and milk chocolate.  Flavour is above moderate sweet and above light bitter.  Falls down on the palate with a thin watery texture and very soft carbonation.

8 3 8 3 15Draft at Independence Taproom, Mumbai.  Clear dark golden with an off white head.  Aroma of citrus, dank hops, tropical fruits, lychee and peach.  Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter.  Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

7 3 6 3 12Draft at Independence Taproom, Mumbai.  Clear reddish amber with a white head.  Aroma of blueberry, sweet and tart with wheat.  Flavour is above moderate sweet and light sour.  Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.
