Bottle Pours a clear spakling pale orange. Slight wispy white ring of a head and traces of it’s best attempt at lacing. Light grain/ceral aroma. Some sweetness, like apricots or orages. Dry, bland and slightly sour flavors. Low hops and dry unfilted aftertaste. Forgettable. When I look at this label all I can think of is the SNL skit.

Tasted at Belgium Comes to Cooperstown, July 16, 2005. Deep red brown ale with a nice creamy moka head. Sweet caramel and raisin in aroma with good floral hops. Sweet caramel with too much intense hops, not much fruity raisin or dates, liek a BW style. Still, a pleasant offering, more like an old ale.

Ommegang fest. Tap. Golden ale with a spciey and sulfuric aroma. It may be off. Sweet malt and coriander, with some medicinal aftertaste. Could be good if fresh.

A little chocolate on the nose, but rather thin porter without much character. Not impressed.

This dark amber hued 80/- has some biscuity and toasty flavours amid the requisite caramelly and crystal maltiness.
