Pounder beer thanks to my daughter and my husband. Pour is typical wit bier, its slightly cloudy, but mostly clear. Smell is typical mild wit bier, you know, a little off from fresh, but not degrading. A mild easy going beer fer sher. Its quite civilized and easy going. Nice, easy, rather friendly; but there is a little bit of that processed feel to it in the middle. A tad of weird processed bitterness in there but it never really sticks it's ugly head up to disappoint you. As the session goes on towards the end of the can, I'm starting to like this stuff. Not bad overall but OK on the witbeir continuum. Needs a few lessons from the real thing in the old country.

Can from Tavour. Pours translucent gold with a large foamy/creamy white head. Aroma is earthy/floral/citrus over mildly roasty malt. Med body. Flavor is earthy/floral/citrus - so much floral it's almost like a perfume. Towards dry, but sweet caramel is present. Moderately bitter. A very pleasant drink. Makes me think of a highly hopped bitter.

Can from Tavour. Pours hazy dark orange gold with a decent white head. Aroma is tart tangerine/citrus. Med body at least. Flavor is slightly tart citrus that could be tangelo or a citrus/apricot mix. Hard to figure. Dry. Bitter. Malt is slightly roasty. Heat is clearly present. It has a cooked fruit aspect. Yet, despite all the issues, it is a good tasting ale. Recommended.
