Bottle from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is roasted malt with coffee, tobacco, some chocolate and caramel, light liquorice. Not that Belgian actually. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Nice bittersweet Porter, roast and coffee at the front. Good.

Black with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some dark malts. Overall very grainy and wholesome. Smooth and easy to drink.

Sehr trockener, deutlich röstiger Beginn. Erhöhte Karbonisierung, wenig herb, laff. Mittellanger Abgang. Nett, ohne die starke Karbonisierung wäre es gut. 7/8/7/9/9/9

33cl bottle. A hazy bright yellow beer with a big good lasting white foam. Aroma of fresh yellow berries, lime, zest, pale malt and yeast. Taste is lemon, fresh berries, yeast, straw, a bit dry malty. High carbonation.

Fles 33cl thuis. Flink roasted malts, lichte rooksmaak, bitter, ver weg wat rood fruittonen, zoetje, caramel, chocolade, koffie. Niet zoet voor een porter. (8-1-2020).

33cl bottle. A very dark brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of coffee, dark chocolate malt. Taste of sweet chocolate, dark roasted malt, coffee. Nice!

Sampled from 0.33 l bottle, best before October 2019. Dark, reddish brown to black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee and some hazelnut. Gently sweet, malty, quite roasty-bitter taste of dark chocolate, coffee, hazelnut and a touch of licorice root, followed by a medium long, gently roasty-bitter, minimally yeasty-spicy finish. Medium to full body, smooth and gently creamy mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice!

Dezent säuerlich malziger Beginn, trocken, moderat röstig. Fichtennadeln, die Malzintensität bleibt hinter den Erwartungen zurück, dennoch insgesamt harmonisch. Moderat herb, minimal bitter, langer trocken kakaoartiger Abgang. 10/9/10/10/7/10

Enjoyed at home. Bottle just about to expire (10/2019). Pours a black colour and a light brown head with a small layer retention. Aroma's: sweetish, cocoa powder, roasted malts, a hint of red fruit. Retronasal there's roasted malts, coffee and sweet chocolate. Flavour is light moderate sweet with light roasted bitterness. Body is a bit thin. Finishes with roast, a bit dry, moderate bitter. Quite nice.
