Dark brown, tan head.Initially dry nose, then notes of molasses with light alcohol.Molasses malt flavor with a dry finish as it warms. The alcohol heat isn't harsh but surprisingly it burns like brandy on the way down.Chewy. Will re rate, as I have a bit of a cold.

Draught, the Whip, Vancouver

Hazy gold; aroma is wheaty. Flavour is malt-accented with wheaty crispness late and mild, earthy English hop notes. Not as crisp as I remember it.

Bright amber colour. Aroma is lightish, with earthy hops and light malt toastiness. Bitterness is light. The body has a light creaminess to it. The malts are lightly caramelly and toasty but mainly play a background role to fairly earthy, slightly woody hops. Somewhat dry in the finish. Decent beer, everything that’s in there is good, but still a bit too neutral for my liking.

Bright chestnut colour. Nutty aroma with chocolate malt undertones. Toasty, light body with some honey and hints of chocolate. Sits on the border between a mild and a brown ale.
