Can. Packed Sept 28. Almost clear amber with a near inch of nearly white head. that laces well and never quite disappears. Aroma of pine sap, brooding tropical fruit, bread. But lighter on the palate than what that suggests with citrus joining breezier tropical notes before a clean bitter end. Solid drop.

Better, more rounded IPA than its southern cousin. NoBo boasts a whole bunch of odd Euro hops, but they make a surprisingly complex, complete IPA. Peach, mandarin, lemondrops, and hints of grapefruit and flowers on the front, while the back end brings out a mild herbal/floral bitterness with touches of minerals and a lingering citrus pith bite. Very nice IPA.

Nice Southern Hemisphere IPA, with loads of passion fruit, mango, berry, white grape, and lemon zest, followed by a modest mineral bitterness and a little white bread in the fade. A bit tame on the finish, but still a solid enough pint.

Gentle and easy-drinking, but lacking much of a soul. Offers up mild notes of grapefruit zest, lychee, and passion fruit, then fades into a nondescript middle before yeast, pine, and a slight grainy sweetness pop up on the finish. Not bad, but a little too mild for my pale ale druthers.
