On draught at Toronado San Diego. The beer is a cloudy yellow-orange color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly to a sparse outer ring. Short strings of lacing. Tropical fruit, herbal hops and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, grassy hops and bready malt. The finish is slightly creamy with a juicy fruit and hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours dark brown with orange edges and a beige or tan head. Aroma is chocolate, and I think I may perceive rye spice. Med body or so. Flavor is chocolate, and the rye is detectable - despite the strong dark chocolate flavor. Not entirely dry and dark chocolate bitter. The malt is there, but the chocolate is the thing for me. And the rye - of which more would be even better. Good stuff.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pour looks like grapefruit juice with a white head. Aroma is juicy citrus with a suggestion of a spice note. Med + body. Flavor is juicy, actually seems grapefruit, and there’s something else. Not exactly spice, but making me think that way. It’s juicily undry, and nicely bitter. Really good.

Pour is a hazy blond with a large white head. Aroma is a spicy hop with lemongrass and red berries. Flavor is more of the berry, some tart citrus and a out of nowhere pop of bitterness. This beer can be a bit harsh at times with the tart citrus combined with the bitterness but there is a nice hop profile underneath all that.

Small pour at Beercraft. Hazy, yup. Big tropical nose, sweet, fruity. Taste too , follows the NEIPA pattern, sweet, sharp bitterness. Nice fell and juicy. Stronger than the norm.
