Tap at Cap Hop. Pours hazy/dirty gold with a white head. Aroma is earthy/pithy/fruity. Med body or so. Flavor is hoppy and somewhat juicy. Slightly astringent fruit. Mixed fruits. Maybe grapefruit, melon, earth. Could be some pale prunus fruits. Scallions? Why not? Pretty dry. Very hoppy. Decently bitter. Clearly no expense was spared on hops. Yet it’s not dank. For me anyway. Very good DIPA.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours brassy gold with a white head. Aroma is sort of arm pit/mixed fruits. Not an insult that. Just something other than dank. Med + body. Flavor is sort of mildly phenolic juicy - quite fruity - grapefruit and tropicals - earthy - very, very lightly astringent. But not wholly dry. Almost juicy. This is delicious stuff, but it is a bit all over the hop landscape. Very hard to parse. There is malt, but it’s hardly noticeable. Enough to support tho. Quite pleasing.

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma suggests dank and/or cat pee. Med body. Flavor is dankish and suggests cat pee over light caramel. Could be pine, but I guess citrus is more probably. Very nice, although sort of one note. Flavor is pretty strong; it’s towards dry; it’s very hoppy; it’s almost indecently bitter. Surprising given the low IBU.

Can from Cap Tap. Pours light, bright gold with a slight white head. Aroma is herbal/floral. Med minus body. Flavor is very floral - am thinking mild lavender - with some herb/grass/spice or something in that range. Certainly not the noble hop Czech thing. It's fairly dry, somewhat bready, clearly hoppy and decently bitter. Pilsner isn't my goto, but this is fairly tasty.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours hazy darkish gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is sort of hazy with citrus and earthy fruits. Med body or better. Flavor is juicy pale stone fruits, touch of citrus and arguably a little tropical. Arguably white berry. Somewhat earthy. Not all that dry. Moderately bitter. In a way it suggests noble hops. Quite tasty and refreshing.

Tap at Toranado, San Diego, 22nd November 17. Pours clean and clear. Aroma is sweet, perfume, citrus, grapefruit. Taste is pine, citrus, tropical fruit, bitter and very good.

On tap at barrel republic pours straw color topped with a white head. Nose is spice Brett notes and a floral kick. Taste is more of the nice brett notes floral and spice.

Pours cloudy yellow with a medium sized white head, good lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit. Flavor of tropical fruit, grapefruit and citrus peel

Can into a snifter showing moderate to well filtered dark orange with half a finger of quickly dissipating clean white foam. The nose shows moderately intense notes of dried orange peel. The palate is medium bodied and well carbonated. Moderately intense and dry flavours of blood orange and notes of light candied orange with a citric zesty spiciness on the palate. Barely any bitterness on the finish.
