Borefts X. Day 2. Bottle pour. Opaque dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Chocolatey dark malts, fair dose of wood. Tangy dark fruits. Mild spice on the light dry finish. Dry and woody but kinda endearing.

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of red fruit, whisky booze, smoke, peat, chocolate and malt. Taste has smokey red fruit, mild tart, oak, peat, smoke, oak, chocolate and a strong scotch presence. Might be a bit infected, but luckily that adds to the flavor. Love the scotch in this one.

Black with thin soapy head. Aroma and flavour are like liquified jaffa cakes. Nice bitterness from the orange.

0.33 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before February 2020. Pitch black with a thin, foamy, quickly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, gently roasty aroma of nougat, hazelnut, vanilla, coconut and some coffee. Quite sweet, malty, slightly roasty taste of nougat, hazelnut, vanilla, coconut and some coffee, followed by a medium long, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly earthy finish. Medium body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Quite sweet but very tasty, the adjuncts are not too prominent, it could just be a little thicker.

Hazy dark blond colour with lasting head. Interesting mix of citric fruity tartness, dry hoppiness and a little spicy yeast.
