Ulfborg Scooper Smagning 2012. Hazy pale amber with a small white head. Aroma of orange peel, with musty notes of old hops and maybe some yeast as well. Sweetish orange peel and peach flavour with biscuit and caramel notes and a rather bitter finish

Bottle @ Mid March Tasting, Ulfborg 2012. Pours cloudy golden with a small white head. Yeasty and phenolic nose and flavor. Rubber. Peach and liquorice. A bit of dusty peach and grapefruit hops beneath the thick layer of dirty yeast. Ends dry.

33cl bottle @ home. Opaque black or at least very dark brown color, average sized beige to light brown head. Smell malts and hops, but also a slightly sour hint. Taste malts, hops, bitter, slightly some coffee-hints in the aftertaste. Not really an Imperial Stout to me. Medium body, medium carbo.

33 cl bottle from De Bierkoning (Brewed 23 Sept. ’11, bottled 22 Oct. ’11). Amber color, hazy. Dense, almost white head. Nice floral hoparoma, plus hints of sweet malts. More bitterness retronasal. Flavor is medium bitter, not too harsh. Bit yeasty too. Medium bodied. Bitter finish. Not much depth but nice anyway.

Bottle from Bier Koning. Solo hungover tasting in my hotel room! Cloudy amber beer, residual off white head. Semi dry palate with fine carbonation. Minerals. Fresh fruit -raspberry identifiable and quite surprising! Tropical fruits - mango and pineapple and more towards the end. Caramel malt backbone. Finishes dry with an aftertaste of minerals and mild bitterness. Interesting fruits in this IPA!

Bottle shared by Dutchdrebus. Hazy light brown / yellow, no head, just a small white topping. Smell sweet, lightly musty and vegetables. Taste bitter and cooked vegetables as well. The smell and taste get a little better after a while. Carbo decent, body low to medium.

Bottle at T’Arendsnest, Amsterdam, Netherlands on Friday 30.09.11 Pours dark amber bit puddly in appearance with a small white head. Tangy, pithy, citrussy but with a light floral touch and maybe a little herbal. Good IPA, nice soft carbonation, tasty decent beer. . A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
