Draught at Schilling Cider House, Seattle, as Riverwood Brut
Pale yellow color. Crisp cider, fresh apple feeling, off-dry, the light residual sweetness is pleasant, moderately acidic, and a bit of astringency in the final.
Very good.

Draught at Schilling Cider House, Seattle
Dark ruby color with pink head. The aroma is dusty, like peppers, light berries. Very dry mouthfeel, I can get some fruit, but it’s indiscernible, the final is dry and a bit astringent.
It kind of has the currant character, that doesn’t work well in the dry, in my opinion.

Draught at Schilling Cider House, Seattle
Pale yellow color. The cider qualities are not impressive, the aroma is too boozy, some fuel, the mouthfeel is semi-dry, moderate acidity. Chaotic.

Ordinary cider flavors, not too bad, a bit boozy though, semi-dry. Clean, but not exciting.

Red cherry color. Mild aroma of ripe berries, a bit vinous. Off-dry, with delicate berry flavor, not much apple cider, and light astringency in the final.
Not really a cider, but nice.

Pale yellow color. Off-dry cider with moderate ginger that gives soapy feelings.
Not very interesting.

750 c&c from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours slightly golden perry color with some white bubbles. Aroma of smooth, dry cider. Arguably med body. Flavor is astringent, woody, old apples. Not a bad thing that. Very dry. Wood seems to flow away, but the astringency remains. Making me think of wrinkled apples. It’s beginning to seem lightly tart. Very good cider. Might be able to compete with some of the Normandy products.

Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours brilliant red berry, clear with a pink head that left rapidly. Aroma suggests dark grapey jam. Med minus body. Flavor is tart black currant. Not grapey jam cause it sure isn’t sweet. It’s even astringent. Nice stuff.

Bomber. Pours bright darkish red with a purplish smear. Surprisingly the aroma is primarily apple with a follow on red berry. Near med body, maybe. It’s surprisingly tart. And very marion. Like jam, except no sugar and it’s tart. Decent enough.

On tap at Schilling, pours a clear blonde with a medium white head. Aroma is intense, with lots of fresh ginger root drowning out everything else. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of ginger root and medium dry apples. Not a big fan of this. It's reasonable for what it is, but it's not a ginger bomb.
