Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce can into weizen glass, no can dating. Pours very hazy/cloudy golden orange color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of juicy/lightly tart strawberries, lemon, orange peel, honey, wheat, vanilla, and white bread dough; with light notes of banana, clove, pepper, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of fruits, pale/wheat malt, and light fruity/spicy yeast notes; with solid strength. Taste of juicy/lightly tart strawberries, lemon, orange peel, honey, wheat, vanilla, and white bread dough; with light notes of banana, clove, pepper, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very mild herbal/grassy bitterness, yeast spiciness, and fruit tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of strawberries, lemon, orange peel, honey, wheat, vanilla, white bread dough, light banana/clove, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of fruits, pale/wheat malt, and light fruity/spicy yeast flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitter/spiciness. Medium-plus carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, and lightly sticky/acidic mouthfeel that is nice. Zero warming alcohol for 5.8%. Overall this is a nice fruited American pale wheat ale. All around nice robustness and balance of fruit, pale/wheat malt, and light fruity/spicy yeast flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink, with the mildly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Not a hefeweizen as I expected, but well made for a pale wheat ale. Balanced fruits, pale/wheat malts, and mild fruity/spicy yeast notes. Definitely has the American wheat yeast strain. A nicely enjoyable offering.

Finally something half decent where the roasted malt rye and hops work in harmony. Everything does their part well, but nothing exceptional.

Somehow they won an award for this muddling molasses porter. It’s a great stepping stone porter, kinda like Steven seagal’s movies are great stepping stone choreography movies. Entertaining for a moment, but ultimately regret the purchase.

Medium dark amber color. Big tropical fruit and marmalade notes. Full body, sweet, malt accented With modest bitterness, but still not that interesting. Best of their lame bunch
