(On tap @ the brewpub, Toronto, Mar 7/20) Pours clear dark gold with an average white head. Notes of sweet citrus and candy/bubblegum esters, a little banana, dried flowers and a bit of phenol herb/pepper, honeyed pale malt that dries a bit in the finish with some booze heat. Medium bodied, average carbonation. Feels like a Belgian strong golden on the estery side rather than a saison. Decent but it wasn't totally my thing.

6.9/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 7 Flavor 7 Texture 6 Overall 7.5
(On tap @ the brewpub, Toronto, Mar 7/20) Pours a lightly hazy deep orange with a small white head. Notes of moderately sweet and lightly tart plums in lactose, a little lactic acid yoghurt, very subtle spice and dried flowers accents, soft plum finish that's a bit mineral. Light to medium bodied, slightly spritzy. No real dessert vibe at all here, just some sweetness to soften the plum. Light and easy drinking.

7.5/10 Appearance 8 Aroma 7 Flavor 7 Texture 8 Overall 8
(On tap @ the brewpub, Toronto, Mar 7/20) Pours opaque medium orange with a tight white head and lace. Notes of orange and grapefruit, citrus peels, dank mango with a bit of pine resin, biscuity pale malt with touches of grain, finishes quite dry with moderate citrus peel and resin bitterness. Medium-bodied with smooth soft carbonation. Pretty nice modern IPA with no bells or whistles but well-brewed and balanced. Quite drinkable.

7.8/10 Appearance 8 Aroma 8 Flavor 7 Texture 8 Overall 8
(On tap @ the brewpub, Toronto, Mar 7/20) Pours very hazy orange-gold with a small white head. Notes of lightly sweet and rather juicy peach, grapes, red berries, fruit candies, white grape, light citrus zest and fresh grass, pretty subtle light wheat-type malt flavour with a smooth oaty body, semi-dry finish with light bitterness. Medium-plus body with fairly soft carbonation. Nice elegant juicy NEIPA, no big resinous bitterness or runaway 'green' notes here. Quite a nice drinker.

7.4/10 Appearance 8 Aroma 7 Flavor 7 Texture 8 Overall 7.5
(On tap @ the brewpub, Toronto, Mar 7/20) Pours nearly opaque deep purplish red with a small pink head. Aroma of tart blackberry and raspberry candy, berry puree, grass and pine hop hints, a little lactose sweetness but mostly fruit. Flavour is lightly tart fresh blackberry and raspberry, light citrus notes, a little sweetness in the middle, finishing fairly dry with berry flesh notes. Medium-bodied, a little creamy with average carbonation. Not overly complicated but nice berry character, better than the cherry version alongside it.

6.9/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 7 Flavor 6 Texture 8 Overall 7.5
(On tap @ the brewpub, Toronto, Mar 7/20) Pours clear deep gold with a white head. Notes are a slightly odd combination of light tart cherry, yellow berries, vanilla sugar, light lactic twang, some bready malt and light bittering hops, sweet-tarts through the sip and a bit fruity in the finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Decent but a bit of a strange cherry quality interaction with the vanilla and malt. Didn't even look like a cherry beer!

5.4/10 Appearance 6 Aroma 6 Flavor 5 Texture 4 Overall 5.5
On tap at Rorschach, pours a cloudy dark amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out a muddled melange of tropical fruits, some lactose, and bitter citrus hops. Flavour is not very IIPA-like, with pithy stone fruits, sweet caramel malt, and subdued resinous hops. This isn't very cohesive - a little muddled and lacking enough hop bite (too much malt). Not my kind of IIPA at all.
