341mL can, pours black with a large tan head. Aroma brings out lots of salted caramel, followed by coffee, and a touch of roast. Flavour is loaded with intense salted caramel upfront, backed by deep roasted malt and some coffee beans. Not usually a fan of these types of stouts, but the roast and coffee provide a nicely powerful support for the caramel. Finishes lightly sweet, with plenty of roast. Very good.

375 ml bottle. Pours black with short dark tan head. Aromas of syrupy dark chocolate, molasses, and slick roasted malts. Flavors follow same with additional complex dark sugars and subtle wood. Not getting much of the red wine, just the barrel - but don't care...

Bottle at Weathered 2022, Vancouver
Dark brown colour. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, graham crackers, minty candy cane. Good body, sweet, cheap chocolate upfront, weird mintiness and peanut shells.

Poured from 375mL bottle. Near black with small tan head. Cinnamon, fairly subtle chilli pepper, touch of vanilla, chocolate. Okay.

Dark brown. Aroma is cinnamon, chocolate and chiles. A touch of vanilla. On the palate, lots of cinnamon, and chocolate. There's nice earthy chiles in there. Not bad. Wouldn't mind a bigger sweetness, so it's got some bitterness that comes through and wobbles the balance. Solid stuff.

375mL bottle, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma is loaded with chili peppers and cinnamon upfront, with cocoa and vanilla in back. Flavour is adjunct city, with intense cinnamon, chili peppers, cocoa, and light vanilla. This is all spices -- way too much cinnamon and chili pepper (without the burn). Not a fan of this.

Bottle at Weathered 2022, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of artificial adjuncts—lots of peanut butter and cocoa. Flavour is messy and cloyingly sweet, with lots of molasses, booze, and a touch of peanut butter. Boozy and harsh—not complex or well-integrated but drinkable.

A pour at I hope not a super spreader event Weathered. Appearance: dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: inky, roasty, maybe some barrel character. Taste: sweet lacto, sludgy jellies, chocolate. Overall: thanks god there is not peanuts, but it's just not bad overall.

A hazed light blonde pils with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, light fruity biscuit malt with grassy hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, a nice crisp biscuit malt with grassy Saaz hops, light mineral notes, pleasant.
