Gateway Brewing Company was founded on 1st Nov, 2011 with a single purpose: to brew classic & experimental styles of beers with local ingredients and make them available to bars & restaurants at an affordable price. The name is inspired from Mumbai’s local landmark – Gateway of India.

7 3 7 3 14Draft at Gateway Taproom, BKC, Mumbai.  Fairly hazy brown with a tan head.  Aroma of malt, caramel and overripe dark fruits.  Flavour is light moderate sweet and bitter.  Light medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

7 3 7 3 15Draft at Woodside Inn, Mumbai. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of citrus, lime and light grain. Flavour is light sweet, above light sour and salty. Above light bodied with light carbonation.

(On tap) Cloudy dark brown with small head. Chocolate toffee aroma. Toffee and tart taste with interesting spicy notes. No bitterness. Quite refreshing and interesting.

(On tap) Cloudy orangey brown with good white head. Nice wheaty tart aroma. Medium bodied, with gentle carbonation. Pleasant tartness over light malt Pleasant easy drinking
