Description
Denver Beer Co. was born in our garages with a few batches of home brew and a love for the craft of brewing. Serving only premium artisan ales and lagers, we utilize fresh ingredients and embrace both innovative and old world styles of beer. Similar to a farmer’s table, our beer selections change with the seasons. By brewing in small batches, we can ensure that a few old favorites are always on tap, but new goodies greet visitors each month.

Our brewery is founded on passion for high quality, flavorfully crafted beer and the belief that the best pints are those shared with good company. Drawing inspiration from beer gardens of Bavaria, we designed Denver Beer Co. to be a place where new and old friends can share a table and pint out of doors.

Smells and tastes like they exclusively used summit.hops - lots of sprouted garlic in the nose and flavor - some roast, chocolate and moderate acidity - none of the malt works all that well with the overpowering garlicky nature of the hops - meh.

Not a ton of belgian character here - kind of tastes and looks.like a doppelbock - light metallic/copper notes, raisins, fig, some melanoidin character - finish of cane sugar and dark fruit - okay.

Clear copper - firm, full carbonation in the mouth - medium dry, lightly grainy, mild apricot - very mild phenols (pepper) and moderate hop bitterness - finish of some coriander - easy drinking, with lingering tropical notes - decent.

A very dry and dusty beer - a lot of peppery phenols actually play fairly well off of the earthy, spicy hops - some sweeg tropical notes through the middle, but otherwise dry, dusty and bitter - decent.

Tap at the brewery - clear copper - taste and aroma are grainy, bitter, husky - peppery hops - touches of buttery diacetyl - messy - apparently made with a bunch of different grains, including quinoa - should probably be listex as a specialty grain - a bad one.

Tap @ Denver Beer Co. Pours a bit hazy, dark brown appearance with a brown head. Really roasty, burnt Burger King coffee, fruity acidic,, mild chocolate aroma. A little watery, not very enjoyable dark roast coffee, burnt malty, one dimensional flavor. Really nothing going on here except unenjoyable coffee notes. Pass.
