16oz can pours a thick, translucent gold with tons of frothy white head.  Nose is OK, expected more, melon, mango, sunflowers, some booze.  Flavor is the same, muddled stone fruits, some melon sorbet, flowers, herbs.  Finishes big.  Its a little nondescript.  7 4 7 3 12

So yes. The definition of crushable imperial stout.

16oz can pours a pulpy orange with some sticky white head. Nose has melon, schnapps, some stone fruit, green vanilla, papaya. Flavor isn’t quite as good as the nose, melon and peach lead, then there’s a big grainy character, a little buckwheat, orange now, savory herbs. Finishes starchy, lightly bitter.

Super hazy golden and light straw coloured body with a very large, four to five centimetre tall nice microfoamed off-white head that stays afloat for a long time. Aroma of dry malts, pepper, flowers, grass and hay with a soft sweetness noticeable, as well as some candy notes. Medium to Full-bodied; Rich malty character that is fairly smooth, but very viscous along with a fresh grapefruit and resin note and some very subdued, but noticeable candy and caster sugar notes of sweetness. Aftertaste is crisp, slightly dry, very malty, yet somehow not cloying, strong, assertive, aggressive or too deep - the balance is struck nicely, with some good fruit notes, a very strong malt presence and a great hop profile that doesn't have a lot of alpha acids or bitterness, but does show a good fruity and dry character throughout. Overall, a very nice beer that is definitely 'new school', as a ten-per center Imperial IPA, doesn't have any real bitterness, yet goes down easily and tastes about eight per cent at most! Great from the brewery, well-balanced, with great hidden alcohol and I hop I get to try more from this brewery even closer to Washington! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Ye Olde Spirits Shop in Frederick, Maryland on 29-November-2020 for US$8,09!!! while cutting down my Christmas Tree for the year, sampled at my house back here in Washington on 13-December-2020.

Can thanks to AJ. Pours a dark brown with small beige head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma is roasted malt and cocoa. Slick body, cocoa, cracker, roast, dry finish, good.

16oz pour at Max's is a pulpy honey comb color, spitty white head.  Nose is apricots and orange marmalade, some chai, stone fruits.  Flavor is nice, brings is back to the bullseye, oranges and grapefruit, some vanilla, oats, herbs, honey comb.  Finishes pillowy, a hint of bitterness that tickles a little.  Nice.  Well made.  Slap a Trillium label on this and folks would trade for it.  8 3 8 4 15

16 ounce can. Opaque black color. Thick foamy tan head. Roasted malt aroma hints at coffee and cocoa. Sweet roasted malt flavor has obvious notes of chocolate, coffee, vanilla and coconut. Sticky mouthfeel.

16oz can pours a pulpy gold with some frothy white head.  Nose has melon, raw pineapple, fresh orange juice, some raw grain.  Flavor follows. More pineapple, a real starchy character like torrified wheat, raw melon, under ripe orange.  Big finish, almost grating.  A bit overdone.  7 4 6 3 12

16oz can pours a pulpy orange with plenty of sticky, thick white head.  Nose under promises, some orange rind, some herbs, straw, had to search for melon and vanilla.  Big in the mouth, bitter, tannic, very starchy, grist, orange rind, grapefruit rind now, herbs, straw.  Fine.  7 5 7 3 12
