Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a pretty copper with a finger of beige head that lingers. Dried apricot, pineapple, horseblanket, grass and caramel in the nose. Balanced with some funky yogurt-like creaminess, and peppery dryness. Good carbonation, high drinkability. Very Belgian-like. Really nice effort from Honky Tonk. --- Beer merged from original tick of Funk Weapon Brett IPA on 17 Jan 2018 at 10:22 - Score: 7. Can from Craft Brewed. Pours a deep brown with a finger of tan head that lingers. Light bourbon nose with faint vanilla and cacao notes. Big, chewy body for the abv. Vanilla, toasted coconut. Smooth with a touch of oak. I usually don't like barrel-aged low abv beers, but this one has great texture and body. Nice beer.

Pours a clear orange-amber color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of citrus, herbal hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of floral hops, tropical fruit and malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft at the Family Wash. Pours a hazy-ish gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Lovely pithy, iyokan-forward nose with lots of white grapefruit and a touch of lemon zest as it warms. Citrusy on the palate and super refreshing. Finish is bitter, but the citrus notes balance it out well. Low malt bill as well. Really surprised with this beer. --- Beer merged from original tick of Simple Man on 09 Sep 2017 at 22:37 - Score: 7. Original review text: Big white grapefruit forward nose. Grainy on the palate with endless citrus. Light malt bill. Quite surprised!
