Sampled from the tap at Minnesota Winter Dabbler 2016. Pours black with a think light brown head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has notes of dark grains, earthy chocolate malt and a bit of musty roast backing. Flavor has notes of bitter dark grains, roasted malts and a bit of bitter chocolate.
