On tap at Free the Whales. Pours black with small tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong chocolate, banana, roasted peanuts, wood, bourbon. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, nice sweetness on banana and chocolate, light boozy finish, enjoyed this.

16 ounce can. Chestnut brown color topped by a large frothy tan head. Sweet toasted malt aroma. Notes of Kane syrup, toasted nuts and cinnamon. Flavor follows nose. Added notes of brewed tea, vanilla and brown sugar. Sticky mouthfeel. Different, yet tasty.

Overwhelmingly sweet, even for a Triple IPA. Peach rings, candied orange zest, vanilla, and loads of residual sugar. Pine bitterness on the back end causes a saccharine fade. Too damn sweet.
