Undated can to pint glass. A: Pale orange with a few bubbles. Poured hard to practically no head. S: Thin muted aroma of mostly orange and grain T: Citrus and sweet bread notes combine with bitter pith for a nice balanced flavor. Glad there’s more flavor than smell. M: Lowish carbonation seems to make it feel heavier than it is. O: Nothing impresses about this but it does actually taste pretty good. Points for no dating.

12 ounce can into a tulip. Canned 2/29/16. A: Murky dark orange/gold with a tight eggshell colored head. Fair retention and impressive lace. Visible largeish bubbles and a little sediment. S: Sweet spruce, orange and mango(?) scent. Very nice tart note too. Slightly peachy T: Resinous tart pine with a fruity middle that is hard to specify. Maybe peach. Bitterness is there but fairly subtle. Oily finish. Very good balance. M: Light and fairly thin as expected and frothy, finishing Pretty cleanly. Very crushable. O: My first Bombshell beer is a pleasant surprise. Looks great. Smells great. Tastes great. A new addition to my list of favorite SIPAs.
