Strong aroma of lillies, some daffodil. Cloudy amber, thin head. Grapefruit and lemon, mild malt presence on the back end. Medium body, creamy, easy carbonation.

4 oz pour from growler at Meridian Pint. Thanks Jace! Jim Beam barrel aged version with coffee. Black with tan head. Aromas of roasted coffee, a little burnt coffee bean, light chocolate, sweet whiskey. Tastes of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, slightly burnt coffee beans, light whiskey. Medium body with a dry and warm finish. Pretty good but prefer this without the coffee added.

4 oz pour on draft at Meridian Pint. Black with light tan head. Aromas of peppermint, subtle chocolate. Tastes of big peppermint, dark chocolate. Medium body with a dry finish. Peppermint overtakes most of the beer.

4 oz pour on draft at Meridian Pint. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of bitter roasted coffee, light dark berry-like fruit. Tastes of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, subtle cream. Medium body with a dry finish. Fairly simple but tasty if you like coffee stouts.

4 oz pour on draft at Meridian Pint. Aged 6 months in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of light whiskey, dark chocolate, roast, light dark fruit. Tastes of dark chocolate, whiskey, roast, light oak. Medium-full body with a dry finish. Jim Beam barrel is a bit more well integrated and balanced.

Draft at Virginia IPA Challenge at Capital Alehouse Harrisonburg VA: Orange peel and lemongrass nose. Amber, medium yellow head. Lillies and orange peel. Medium body, soft carbonation. Well rounded.

Keg at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange with a thin creamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of tropical, citrus hops, toasted malt. The taste is tropical, citrus hops, pale malt, mild caramel. Medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.
