Can, courtesy of Keir
Cloudy light amber color with small compact head. Nice aroma, the malt has a straws accent, some cereals and toffee, and mild resiny/fruity hops. Lean mouthfeel; delicate malt flavor, with a touch of caramel and toffee, very good choice for an IPA; strong hopping; there are good hop qualities (some resins and some fruits), although it may have suffered a bit (unfortunately the can doesn’t seem to be dated).
Very pleasant one.

Pour is a hazy copper with a small white head. Aroma is decently hopped with a spicy rye malt in the backround. Flavor is a decent helping of the rye with an equally nice hoppy backbone. Finish leaves a nice hop resin and rye on the tongue as this goes down.I don’t think this would win any awards against some other rye IPA’s but this one is right up there.

Sampled from he tap at the Bridge. Pours a clear light orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has lots of rye and earthy pine with a touch of grass. Flavor has bitter pine and a hint of onion and a nice rye bite backing.

Pour is a clear gold with a huge white head. Aroma is grain malt with some yeasty ester. Flavor is a heavy malt grain with the yeast trying to do something. The aftertaste really kills this one. Kind of gritty and bitter with something like burnt malt. A little unpleasant. This one needs to head back to the drawing board.

Pour is a clear copper with a large white head. Aroma is a nice spicy rye with a big peppery nose. Flavor is again an ok spicy rye malt with some floral notes and finishes with a nice earthy malt. I’m not sure rye is a good malt to use in a saison as the spicyness of it takes over the pepper and mustyness the yeast gives off. It’s ok to try probably would not get this again.
