Can pour from Total Wine & More, Brentwood. It's an opaque black with tons of sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width light brown tight foam head with excellent retention and nice rings of lacing. Aroma is moderately strong bittersweet coffee, milder cocoa and nut. Taste mirrors aroma with addition of lactose. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, creamy texture, soft carbonation, alcohol warmth and finish as taste with mild lingering bitterness. Overall, aroma and taste could be a little stronger but are well balanced and certainly avoids being overly sweet. A little thin especially given the lactose. Drinks nice.

16 oz can purchased as a single at Tipsy’s Wine and Spirits in Mission, Kansas. The pour is a black brown with some ruby and a dark khaki 1/2 inch head. The aroma is coffee and cream, soft lactose sweetness. The taste is the milky cream and roast coffee with milk sweetness toward the back. The palate is medium to heavy bodied with soft carbonation and the milky sweet soft roast finish. Nice one.

16oz can pours a muddy, dark brown/black with some some cloudy, grey/brown head. Nose is interesting, heavy chocolate, more chocolate bar then cocoa powder, coffee is more sweetened mocha than espresso, caramel, molasses and hints of vanilla. Flavor is sweet with molasses and chocolate soda, light coffee, cracker, some vanilla. Full bodied and a touch peppery on the finish.
