Hoppy, slightly sweet and stale aroma with resin and some gooseberry bush. Flavour is hoppy and a bit weird with rather intensive aromas of gooseberries and grapes. Also hints of biscuits. Finishes with somewhat harsh bitterness with nettles and gooseberry bush leaves.

330ml bottle. Cloudy amber colour with huge firm frothy to creamy moderately lacing white head. Decent, somewhat disguised grassy hop aroma. Relatively monotonous slightly biting dry and grassy hop taste with lime and citrus notes. The rising and going down of the lime and citrus note is the only variation. Not bad, but too monotonous and with a fusty, musty barn flavour.

330 ml bottle courtesy of rlgk. Pours shazy golden with a big frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving lotsmofmlacing on the glass. Smell is sweet and fruity with pineapple, mango, grapefruit juice, passion fruit, lemon zest, caramel, lemon balm, dried flowers, pine, grass and hints of dill. Taste is slowly sweet and bitter with freshly cut grass, orange peal, unripe mango, grapefruit juice, passion fruit, pineapple, lemon zest, pine, lemon balm, minerals and hints of caramel and bread. Mouthfeel is smooth, round, silty oily bitter and medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and bitter with fresh grass, pine, grapefruit juice, pineapple, orange peal and unripe mango. A nice surprise!

22/04/2012 330ml bottle, IP trade (thanks Erzengel!). Ambrata, viva, abbastanza limpida, schiuma biancastra non molto abbondante. Al naso un bellissimo bouquet fruttato, intenso, davvero sorprendente, di pompelmo e frutta tropicale, con note di resina. In bocca ha un attacco maltato e un bell’amaro deciso, fresco, pulito, con finale secco. Corpo medio, carbonazione corretta. Davvero una gran bella IPA.

Kaffeeartiger, deutlich hefiger Beginn. Die Malznoten wirken dabei kurz dumpf. Hefiger werdend, Espressoaromen, aromatisch. Spritzig, holzig, wenig Säure. Rund, aromatisch, gut! 11/11/12/13//11

Holziger, intensiv malziger Beginn. Dabei tritt nach der Süße eine geringe Säure ein, die aber von den Hopfennoten überstimmt wird. Hefig werdend, dabei ist das Malz zwar weiterhin das stärkste Aroma, die anderen Noten holen aber deutlich auf. Schokoladiges Finish. /11/11/12//12

Der Beginn ist süß-herb und weniger hopfig als erwartet. Im Mittelteil wird das Bier dann deutlich hopfiger, sehr weich. Dazu auch recht trocken. Der Mittelteil ist hopfig-würzig, etwas zu süß. 8/9/8/9/8/8
