Bottle looks really good, beer in the glass also. Starts intense hoppy, some sourish-lemon notes, also a bit grasy. More and more dry, some wheaty notes. Dry finish, a bit dusty. Interesting!

Thanks to Countbeer for sharing. Slightly hazy dark orange color, decent white head. Love the smell: bitter, hops, pine, fruits and grapefruit. Taste so much grapefruits, pine and bitter. Bit weak though, bit low carbo and body.

Bottle looks simple, but good. Beer in the glass fine turbid, nice huge head. Starts mild-hoppy, dry, but not too much. Fine grasy-hoppy, more and more spicy. Finish well balanced, some lemon hints. I really liked it!

Bottled from Bierkoning. Slightly hazy amber color, huge rocky head, quite high in carbonation. Aroma of soft caramel malt, slight nutty, reasonable amount of hops, grapefruit, resiny, apricot. I think it lacks a huge kick of dryhops, but that might be personal. Slight sweet taste, reasonably bitter (doesnt taste like 82 IBUs, but thats probably just an estimation with software, so doesnt mean a lot). I do get a lot of flavor from the hops, not just harsh bitterness, but soft flowery and slight leafy hop flavor, bit spicy as well. Although the malts come through lightly in the nose, they are only on the background in taste, which is good. Still fairly dry, not too (caramelly) sweet. It’s a bit high on carbonation, which cleanses the palate a bit. Nice full bodied IPA.

Bottle @ Beer Temple. Orange or copper colored I think - since there’s lots of (chunks of) yeast floating around. Huge, rocky, off white head. Resiny & citrussy hoparoma, but also malty sweet & sweet fruit. Flavor is moderately sweet and light bitter, with some acidity from the carbonation - gushes in the mouth. Still, fairly full bodied. Bitterish finish with still some malty sweetness. Seems more like a well hopped triple to me, but pleasant nonetheless.

Draught: Deep golden, cloudy, small fluffy white head; grapefruity-piney hoppy nose; dry bitter-sweet flavour, relatively light bodied for a 15.5°, but soft; short bitter-grapefruity finish. Good, but a bit thin.....

12/12/11/12//12

Draught: Light amber coloured, stable mid-sized off-white head; solid hoppy nose; moderate dry bitter-sweet flavour, malty base detectable, medium bodied; lingering dry grapefruity-piney finned. Fine, well hopped Ale......

Langer Nachgeschmack, zunehmend trocken, getreidiger Nachhall. 12/13/11/12/11/13
