Dark yellow color with a roasted peanut or peanut butter aroma. Flavor is sweet honey mellowed by a hop bitterness and beer crispness. Charred or burnt aftertaste. Better than regular mead that is too sweet for my taste.

Draft at Flying Saucer Columbia SC. Opaque dark brown color tan head. Aroma of dark plums and coffee. Taste is roasty cocoa and coffee grounds, light booze. Tasty.
