16 oz. can. Pours black, with a medium, brown head. The nose is big vanilla, apple brandy, milk chocolate, nutty sherry, and cinnamon. Sweet, malty, and boozy. Thick and syrupy. This is a decadent and aggressive stout, but fun and tasty.

Lives up to its name, with a huge, chewy, viscous texture chock-full of fudge, vanilla, raisin, bourbon, and more fudge. So much fudge. Too sweet--apparently I'm going to be using this comment on all modern imperial stouts for the foreseeable future--but the bourbon is nice, and the mild oak bitterness on the back end shores things up a bit. ABV is completely hidden. A little much for me, but a well-made pint.

Subdued for a Scofflaw IPA, with a noticeable cracker malt base and moderate notes of grapefruit, mango, passion fruit, and peach, followed by a strong pineapple sweetness and a mild, grassy fade. Not my bag.

Weird, and not in an endearing way. Starts out with equal parts mandarin, caramel, and pine, then grows a distinct lemon tartness mixed with overripe stone fruit and a mild vegetal undertone. Finishes raw and sweet, with a lingering tang. Very sloppy.

Lci, this is the chunkiest ipa I've ever had, it was a disgusting about of nonuniform chunks that come out of the bottle like spoiled milk, really made it hard to drink the ipa itself, I don't think I've had a less appetizing beer.

Tap at Greenville Beer Exchange, Greenville. Colour is slightly cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, citrus, hops and malts. Very good!

Thick, sticky, and sweet, tons of dark chocolate, caramel, molasses, and vanilla, but also with a surprisingly sharp raisin-tinged tartness in the fade a bit too prominent for the style. Doesn’t kill the beer, but definitely takes it down a notch. Bourbon is subtle but apparent in the finish. No trace of the ABV. Not bad, but too fruity for my tastes.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear, golden color, with a big, foamy, white head. The aroma is pineapple, guava, resin, quinine, and sawdust. A little dry, with a sharp, acidic bitterness. Medium body, with a crisp, effervescent, and grainy feel. This is a fun and tropical IPA, if a little astringent.
