Super refreshing and no bitter aftertaste like blood orange sometimes has.

From a can at Trio in Kill Devil Hills NC. Pours a clear pale gold. Aromas of allspice and cloves. Flavors are of sweet apples with a bit of apple tartness.

Pours hazy orange with little to no head. Aroma of abrasive apples. Taste has pineapple notes, sweet and acerbic apples. Palate has typical cider elements, lingering sour citrus. Eh.

Can from Covenhoven. Couple instances between pint & Duvel glasses at home. First thought, hey this didn't come out pink. Probably a good thing. Though there are some chunks o the first pour. Cloudy gold with a lingering ring of foam. Smells is a little indifferent. Sugar & maybe some sort of melon, maybe. Taste is candied watermelon, with a Woodchuck-like aftertaste that is sort of like added distillate & sugars. Malic acid tartness. Watermelon juice here, cider is dirty. Crispy, slightly thick feel. Sulfite headache. Not good. Swore I've rated this brand before & knew better.

Super hazy golden and peach coloured body with a thinnish off-white coloured head that fades like soda. Aroma of apples, light alcohol, some dry malt (i know there isn't any), a dose of hay and grass and of course the big ones - apples and a lot of bittering grapefruits. Light-bodied: Strong grapefruit bite at first, but there is a good amount of sweetness and honey noticeable as well, with so§e very subdued apple and yeast profile and only a dash of bitterness or funk noticeable - the fruit hits nicely and goes down smoothly, throughout. Aftertaste shows the grapefruit front and centre with a lot of bitterness from that, but balanced nicely by a good deal of sweetness and support from the relatively insignificant apple flavours and punch. Overall, a fairly underwhelming Cider that seemed much to pungent and bitter in the nose from the fruits, but tasted and finished very nicely, with the grapefruit playing a central and very nice role, almost more than the apples. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 27-September-2019 for US$2,49 sampled a few minutes later.

On tap at Cassidy’s. Pours a cloudy orange yellow with small white head. The aroma is strong watermelon seed. Thin body, strong watermelon, crushable, very good.
